GolfZone Düsseldorf: Reopening with New Lanes
(eap) The former black light mini golf attraction GlowZone in Düsseldorf (Germany), which is part of the Funzone adventure worlds, was recently reopened under its new name of GolfZone after a renovation phase lasting several weeks. In addition to a new name, six renovated courses and rooms are there to discover. The rooms have been redesigned based on well-known Hollywood films – the courses now lead through a dinosaur, a superhero, an underwater and a ghost world, for example. The use of original movie soundtracks is intended to further enhance the experience.
“After a seven-year history of our Düsseldorf location, it was time to bring our experiences and infrastructure up to date. We have been a permanent fixture in Düsseldorf’s tourism landscape for years– which is why we see it as our duty to offer our guests the highest quality,” says FunZone Managing Director Patrick Wrobel. “The newly designed attraction clearly stands out from other minigolf experiences with its soundscape and, in the future, possibly additional scent effects.”
Besides the black light minigolf, the Funzone experiences in Düsseldorf also include laser tag, axe throwing, an escape room and a city rally. ■
