Hotel Neuhaus Zillertal Opens New Bathhouse with Kids Water World

(eap) The four-star Hotel Neuhaus Zillertal Resort in Mayrhofen, Austria, has recently opened a new bathhouse with numerous amenities for the whole family. These include a water world for children, an adults-only spa and a sauna area.

One of the main attractions in the almost 6,000 square meter bathhouse is “Seppi’s Water Fun”: an adventure world with waterfalls and fountains, where the youngest guests can have fun on several children’s water slides and with sprayers. The area, which was equipped by Aquarena, is decorated with lovingly designed murals featuring the hotel mascot marmot Seppi and his friends. There is also a 90-metre-long slide over three floors and a separate baby and children’s pool.

A 60 degree Celsius textile sauna is also available for the whole family, so that children can also try out their first sauna sessions. Afterwards, a family relaxation room and bunks invite to relax together. There is also a large panoramic event sauna with a view of the surrounding mountain landscape, an organic clay sauna and an “infrared cinema” with infrared heated loungers and beds. After a sauna session or a hike, guests have the opportunity to walk through the new ice fog path with the finest ice water and dry cold for a gentle cool-down.

Relaxation is also provided by a 25-metre infinity pool with far-reaching views of the Zillertal mountains, in a 25-metre indoor pool with a garden gallery, or with a soothing body treatment in the adults-only spa area. Guests who enjoy practicing yoga or meditation, for example, find a suitable place for sessions in the new exercise room.

According to the Hotel Neuhaus Zillertal, the new bathhouse, including its wellness and spa areas, is almost entirely powered by climate-friendly energy. To this end, work began in 2024 on expanding the photovoltaic systems and installing groundwater heat pumps. In addition to the new bathhouse, eleven new family suites have been created, each with two separate bedrooms, ideal for families of three or four. ■
