Immersive Restaurant Atica Combines Gastronomy with Art
(eap) With ATICA a new gastronomic experience has recently become available in the heart of Paris. An immersive restaurant, celebrating cultures through gastronomy and art. Each season, the restaurant will highlight another region that can be experienced with all five senses. The kick-off now makes a sensory journey that immerses guests into Basque culture. Guests can enjoy eight acts in which art and cuisine merge. The first act is an exhibition by Basque sculptor José Ramón Anda, presented on the first floor of the building. In the second act (on the mezzanine), visitors can discover an olfactory capsule of Basque perfumer Ane Ayo, before in the basement the acts three to eight combine six audio-visual performances with a Basque culinary experience.
„At Atica, we welcome every visitor to a total immersion for a unique culinary and artistic journey. Every detail has been carefully thought out to awaken the senses and celebrate cultures through unique experiences. We look forward to sharing this unforgettable adventure with our guests,” states Ramzi Saade, founder of Atica.
The AV and show control solutions were developed and installed by the German company project: syntropy. A total of eight projectors for images in I6K image resolution on a total projection screen of 112 sqm are being used in the facility. The projections are supposed to have a very high brightness and resolution – designed to minimize shadows caused by people dining in the room.
“We are excited to be part of Atica. It is a visionary project that will transform traditional dining into a multisensory gastronomic experience. Atica will be always showcasing new seasons, allowing visitors to explore the world from the heart of Paris,” says Giulia Barbero, Entertainment Director at project: syntropy. ■
