JK Group with New Production Site for Hydrojets Massage Beds

The Windhagen, Germany-based JK Group is expanding its capacities for the production of the “Hydrojet” overwater massage beds of its Wellsystem brand by taking into operation a new production facility in Neustadt (Wied). In addition to Wellsystem, the brand Ergoline (solariums), Beauty Angel (apparative cosmetics) and pure (UVC air disinfection) are part of the group’s portfolio. The new 1,300-square-meter production site will exclusively serve for the manufacture of overwater massage systems.

“We are very pleased to have found a suitable property in our region. Our fourth factory is only a few kilometers away from our headquarters in Windhagen and thus ideally complements our existing production sites,” says Marko Jakobs, Managing Director of JK-International GmbH.

The company produces massage systems for the hotel industry, sports and fitness facilities as part of its “Wellsystem Lounge” product series, and also for clinics, rehabilitation centers and medical practices. The latter run under the name of “Wellsystem Clinic” and are specifically designed for medical use, while the Wellsystem Lounge products are intended to function as soothing wellness applications. The massages beds are characterized by the fact that they offer users a non-contact massage. This involves directing jets of warm water in steady, targeted movements onto the underside of a soft lying surface made of natural rubber, so that they have a massaging effect. (eap)
