(eap) The French regional amusement park operator Looping Group (Groupe Looping) has a new Executive Committee, whose members were introduced today by Executive Chairman Laurent Bruloy and Vice President Stéphane Da Cunha (both co-founders of the Looping Group).

Accordingly, Régis Marçais, who joined the company in 2016 and was initially responsible for external growth strategies, has taken over as Chief Executive Officer. Most recently, he acted as CFO – a management role that is taken over by Alexis de Chevron Villette.

The position of Chief Operations Officer has been filled by Frédéric Boulva, who joined the Looping Group in September last year. He has more than 20 years of experience in amusement parks. His colleague Benjamin Gauthier, who has worked for Looping since 2018, recently took over the management position of Director Projects & Infrastructures. Sophie Colin will now head up human resources as Human Capital Director, while Stéphane Locatelli, who has more than ten years of experience in the industry, will be responsible for Mergers & Acquisitions.

The Looping Group, which is based in Saint-Malo and has an office in Paris, has a total of 20 leisure facilities – regional amusement parks, zoos and water parks – in eight European countries in its portfolio, which together welcome around seven million visitors a year. In Germany, it operates the western theme park Fort Fun Abenteuerland. ■
