Mycotoo Welcomes Key Leadership Appointments
(eap) Headquartered in Los Angeles (USA) with a European office near Barcelona, Mycotoo, a company specializing in the development of entertainment and experiences for theme parks and more, welcomes new members to its management team.
Joining the company as Partner and Chief Operating Officer is Greg Fortner, who will be responsible for operational efficiency, partnership development and sustainable growth of the company. Most recently, Fortner served as CEO of Dig It in Torrance, CA – an indoor play center where children can playfully explore the adult world. Fortner has over 20 years of experience in the technology and entertainment industry.
The company also welcomes Edd Musgrove, who has worked closely with the Mycotoo team in recent years, as a partner and Executive Creative Director of Mycotoo Europe. An experienced designer of theme park and entertainment experiences, Musgrove’s credits include projects such as “Mahuka” at Walibi Rhône-Alpes and “Peppa Pig Land” for Merlin Entertainments and LEGOLAND Parks & Resorts. At Mycotoo, Musgrove will now be jointly responsible for storytelling and attraction design concepts and will also continue to expand partnerships within Europe.
As Director of Design, Mycotoo welcomes Daniel Hirsch to the management team, who has worked on projects for Disney, Universal Studios, Hersheypark and Carnival Cruise Line, among others. His expertise includes areas such as prop production, special effects and interior design. Hirsch is bringing this extensive experience to his new position at Mycotoo.

With projects in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, the company is active on a global level. Recent projects in the EMEA region include experience and design developments for Real Madrid World in Dubai, which opened a few months ago, and for the new “Nickelodeon Land” at the Italian theme park Mirabilandia, which is set to open this season. ■
