Netherlands/UK: Pleasurewood Hills Introduces Real-Time Pricing for Online Ticket Sales
Visitors to England’s Pleasurewood Hills family theme park, which is located close to the coastal town of Lowestoft in the county of Suffolk, can now profit from real-time generated ticket prices in online booking thanks to the newly introduced “Convious” pricing software. The “Software as a Service” solution from the equally named Dutch provider is based on algorithmic calculations to create an optimized price-performance ratio depending on parameters such as estimated attendance, historical data and weather forecasts.
Pleasurewood Hills is one of two parks belonging to French Looping Group that have already introduced the dynamic pricing software; Germany’s FORT FUN Abenteuerland had also implemented the solution this spring (cf. EAP News f. May 2nd, 2019). “[…] The application of algorithmic pricing offers incredible value for money for the customer.
