Novelties for Adventureland Park 2023 Season
(eap) Tomorrow, May 6, Adventureland Park, located in Altoona in the U.S. state of Iowa, kicks off this year’s season. The new rides “Flying Wiking” and “Draken Falls” announced for this year are still under construction and scheduled to open during the season. For now, visitors can already look forward to new gastronomic offerings. First, the “Potato Patch” French fry stand, already present at other Palace Entertainment parks, is making its way to Adventureland. After a load of fries, park guests can enjoy cold desserts such as Sno-cones or Dole Whips in the new “Cone Zone”.
In addition, starting this season, visitors will be able to star in their own photoshoot with various backdrops in the new “VFX Studio” on Main Street. The VFX Studio is part of a new photography offer that includes diverse photo opportunities throughout the park. Also, especially the young guests can take on the role of gold prospectors in the new “Mining for Gold” attraction near the Outlaw roller coaster.
Furthermore, park guests can look forward to numerous events throughout the year. These include a new summer concert series. Musical events await guests not only Adventureland Park itself, but also in the associated Adventure Bay water park, where guests can find a new music stage. ■
