O’Gliss Park Presents Waterslide Novelty for 2024
Yesterday, this year‘s season came to an end at France’s O‘Gliss Park, located in the Vendée region – with a total of 210,000 visitors, the outdoor water park can look back on a great seasonal track record. Already today, the destination in the small community of Le Bernard announced a new attraction for the coming year: Under the name “Stingray”, a new large slide will open next season, which begins on 22 June 2024. “A world premiere that will immerse our guests in a water adventure that will leave a lasting impression!” says Managing Director Michaël Thibaud, already looking forward to the novelty. The novelty is the Stingray slide model first introduced in 2021 by Turkish manufacturer Polin Waterparks. The four-lane tube slide featuring two towers can be used by eight people at a time (two two-person rafts launch per slide tower), providing a high capacity (720 pph). Each of the four lanes leads through a bowl element toward the end of the ride, but the bowl element is run through differently depending on the track. Thus, the slide experience is different on each track, providing variety for guests. ■
