OCT Happy Valley Beijing with New Playa Maya Water Park Expansion

(eap) Happy Valley Beijing amusement park, operated by the OCT Group, recently celebrated the expansion of its associated water park Playa Maya. The expansion includes six water slides and a water play structure from Canadian manufacturer ProSlide. These feature a “MammothBLAST Water Coaster” with a “FlyingSAUCER 45” element, in which up to five people can ride together on a raft. Furthermore, there is a “TORNADO 60” funnel slide and a “Double TornadoWAVE 60”. Families and friends can also look forward to a “ProRacer” on which they can race against each other. For thrill-seekers, there is a free-fall slide with a trapdoor start and a faster version of the “ProSlide Twister”: a “TurboTWISTER”. Also, younger visitors have been thought of, as they can have fun on the new “RideHOUSE 600” water play structure.

The OCT Group has already implemented several projects together with ProSlide in various parks across China in the past. These include OCT Xi’an, OCT Nanjing, OCT Xiangyang and OCT Chongquing Water Theme Park. “The expansion of Playa Maya at OCT Happy Valley Beijing exemplifies our commitment to delivering world-class water attractions that resonate with park-goers.
