Plopsaland De Panne Announces New Family Attraction

(eap) Amusement park Plopsaland De Panne, part of the Belgian Plopsa Group, is investing 1.5 million euros in a new family attraction to mark its 25th anniversary: “Wickie’s Whirlwind”, a “Wild Swing” from ART Engineering, is moving into the park’s “Wickieland” themed area. The 12-metre-high swing is supposed to open in summer this year.
“With Wickie’s Whirlwind, we are adding an exciting family attraction to Plopsaland De Panne that fits in perfectly with the theme of Vicky the Viking. Wickieland is an adventurous and atmospheric area, and this expansion makes the area even more beautiful. The new attraction will be an absolute must-do for visitors from summer 2025,” says Carl Lenaerts, CEO of Plopsa.
Xavier Verellen, Marketing & Sales Director, looks forward to the anniversary year with pride: “After the multi-million investment in Plopsaland Village and the 25 Celebration Parade, it is fantastic that we can also integrate Wickie’s Whirlwind into the park this year.
