(eap) This spring, the Belgian Plopsaland de Panne is opening a themed area dedicated to the Studio 100 TV series “Night Watch” (original name: Nachtwacht), in which an elf, a werewolf and a vampire fight the evil.

For this purpose, the castle area (Kasteelplein) will be completely renovated and transformed into the village of Schemermeer known from the series. In addition, Mack Rides’ Powered Coaster “De Draak”, which opened in 2004, is to be rethemed and given the new name “Draconis”. The opening of the redesigned area is planned for this year’s  Easter holidays.

“Nachtwacht has been a great success at our park for years. Last year’s Halloween experience ‘Nachtwacht & the House of Pandora’ and the performances during the fall vacations have once again confirmed how popular the series is with our visitors. We are therefore proud to expand our park with this new themed area and we are confident that it will offer our visitors an unforgettable experience,” says Carl Lenaerts, CEO of the Plopsa Group. With the “Nachtwacht Flyer”, a Funtime StarFlyer, there is already a ride dedicated to the series at Plopsaland de Panne. ■
