Ravensburger Spieleland Voted Germany’s Most Family-Friendly Theme Park
In cooperation with Germany’s WELT am SONNTAG newspaper and Goethe University of Frankfurt, the analysis and consulting company ServiceValue GmbH recently carried out a survey entitled “Germany’s Most Family-Friendly Companies 2015”. Ravensburger Spieleland does not just rank first with regard to theme, leisure and holiday parks but is also classified as the most family-oriented business of all 400 evaluated companies across 60 industry sectors. Spieleland, which opened a new themed area named “Maus und Elefant Erlebniswelt” in March this year (cf. EAP, issue 3/015), reached a “Family Experience Score” (FES) of 84.8 percent. The FES includes eight criteria, amongst others the child- and family-friendliness of employees, an adequate price-performance ratio or which additional services for families are offered. Based on these criteria a total value between zero and 100 could be attained. In total, a number of 40,000 customers participated in the survey. PLAYMOBIL-FunPark (FES of 84.5 percent) and Movie Park Germany (FES of 84.0 percent) rank second and third. Ravensburger Spieleland’s CEO, Carlo Horn is happy about the result: “This distinction means a lot to me as customer-friendliness and family-oriented service have always played a fundamental role for us. This positive signal from more than 40,000 German customers is an incentive for us to keep on offering our visitors a fantastic time and to meet the requirements of each single guest.” (eap)
