Reopening of the Tyrolean Outdoor Pool Hall
(eap) The Hall public pool in Tyrol (Austria) reopened at the end of June following extensive renovation work. After the outdoor pool, which is popular in the region and operated by Hall AG, had to remain closed for the 2023 season due to construction work, bathers can now look forward to their new, modernized pool. The sports pool with a lane length of 50 meters and a water surface area of more than 1,000 square meters has been completely renovated, as well as the 21 by 11.5 meter diving pool with its 10 meter high diving tower. The small, 17 by 13 meter adventure pool was also newly installed. In addition, both the technology and the water treatment system were brought up to date. The town of Hall, owner of the swimming pool and building contractor, commissioned Berndorf Metall- und Bäderbau, a traditional company based in Lower Austria, with the implementation of the project and the new construction of the modern stainless steel pools.
In addition to the sports, diving and adventure pools, the Tyrolean baths also offer a children's paddling pool, a long slide with a run-out as well as a soccer pitch, beach volleyball court and children’s playground. There is also a tennis court and mini golf course right next to the Hall swimming pool, as well as a camping site with direct access to the swimming pool. ■
