Tennessee’s The Island Entertainment Complex Presents 5 New Rides
In the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains The Island retail and entertainment complex now offers visitors five new family-friendly attractions. In the new tower ride “High Score” (the “Air Balloon” model from SBF VISA), guests take a “balloon ride” at heights of up to 18 meters. The gondolas, designed like colorful hot air balloons, rotate around the tower. Passengers must be at least 92 cm tall and may ride unaccompanied by an adult from a body height of 122 cm. The new ride “Clockwork” is a NebulaZ attraction from Zamperla. “Island FARM’n” is a track-based tractor ride – each tractor seats four riders. At “Dance Party 360”, passengers swing back and forth in the air in the 360-degree rotating round gondola. “Tree Fall” is a drop tower almost 20 meters high. All of these attractions were also supplied by SBF.
At The Island, visitors pay for each attraction individually per ride similar to a fun fair. Alternatively, they have the option of buying a package called “Unlimited Wristband”, which enables them to ride each attraction an unlimited number of times during 48 hours. All new rides are included in this offer. (eap)
