Tokyo DisneySea: Ride Names for “Fantasy Springs” Revealed
(eap) In spring 2024, “Fantasy Springs” is scheduled to open as the eighth themed port at the Tokyo DisneySea park. Yesterday, Oriental Land Co. (owner & operator of the Japanese Disney resort under licence of The Walt Disney Company) announced the names of the various attractions that the new theme world will offer, and also revealed further details about the hotel that will be part of Fantasy Springs.
The Fantasy Springs themed port will include three areas, namely “Frozen Kingdom”, “Rapunzel’s Forest” and “Peter Pan’s Never Land”. In Frozen Kingdom, the main attraction, a boat ride, will be called “Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey”, which will take guests on an approximately 6.5-minute-long journey through the world of Frozen. There will also be two F&B options: the “Royal Banquet of Arendelle” restaurant and the “Oaken’s OK Foods” snack shop.
“Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival” is the name of the water ride that will be the main attraction in Rapunzel’s Forest. Here, visitors can expect a five-minute-long boat ride tour to the annual Lantern Festival, passing various locations from the Walt Disney Animation Studios’ film “Tangled”. In addition, the restaurant “The Snuggly Duckling” will be part of this themed world. Two rides await visitors to Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure, namely the eponymous 3D ride “Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure” and “Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies”. In the counter-service restaurant “Lookout Cookout”, guests can enjoy some snacks and beverages.
Likewise, the Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel with the Fantasy Chateau (with “Deluxe” rooms) and the Grand Chateau (with rooms of the upscale luxury class) will be part of the new themed port. The joint capacity for both parts of the building is 475 rooms. Overnight guests in the Grand Chateau can dine in the house’s exclusive table service restaurant “La Libellule”, or in the “Fantasy Springs” buffet restaurant, which will be open to all hotel guests. There will also be a lounge area in the lobby called “Grand Paradis Lounge”. Hotel owner Oriental Land Co. has commissioned its wholly owned subsidiary Milial Resort Hotels with the future operation of the new hotel.
