Track Premiere for Voltron Vehicle at Europa-Park
(eap) Construction of the new “Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac” roller coaster at Europa-Park is in full swing. The first tracks were installed ten months ago and the impressive ride is taking an impressive shape in the new Croatia-themed area. Now the first of seven trains – weighing over eight tons and consisting of 25,000 individual parts – has been delivered from the Mack Rides Waldkirch roller coaster factory located nearby in Waldkirch. At this stage, the vehicle has a 6.17 square meter base plate with corresponding weights so that the engineers can carry out the first test rides in the coming weeks.
With seven inversions, four launches, 2.2 seconds of weightlessness in one go and the world record with a launch of 105°, the new roller coaster will then offer an intense and incomparable ride experience that is unique in the world. With a length of 1,385 meters, the roller coaster will also be the longest multi-launch coaster on the continent (c.f. EAP News of 11 Aug 2023).
