Turkey: Aquafantasy Waterpark Enthuses Guests with the World’s First Splash Cabin

At last year’s IAAPA Expo in Orlando, Turkey-based Polin Waterparks presented its innovative “Splash Cabin” attraction, developed in cooperation with Lagotronics (cf. EAP, 1/17). The first model has been opened at Turkish Aquafantasy Waterpark in Izmir this summer.

“Splash Cabin” is designed as a beach-bungalow-style cabin, offering room for two players who are seated on a bench – equipped with 3D glasses and one water cannon each, they shoot targets on a video screen and from time to time they get splashed with jets of water. Besides satisfied bathing guests, Aquafantasy Waterpark is generating extra revenue with its latest addition. (eap)
