(eap) Visitors to Adventureland Resort in Iowa, USA, can now experience two new family-friendly Viking adventures with “Flying Viking” and “Draken Falls”. The layout of the two attractions supplied by Zamperla is interwoven in line with the manufacturer's “Integrated Rides” concept.

The Flying Viking Family Coaster winds its way along the nearly 400-meter-long track (1,312 feet) with a maximum height of 15 meters and speeds of up to 26 mph above, below and next to Draken Falls. From a height of 36 inches, little Vikings can plunge into the adventure in company and from 48 inches alone.

The Log Flume Draken Falls has a length of 370 meters (1,212 feet) and a top speed of 34 mph. The highest drop the six-person drop has to offer is the six-foot drop. The highest drop, which the six-person boats whiz down, has a height of 12 meters. Children over 42 inches must be accompanied and kids over 48 inches tall are allowed to ride alone.

“Adventureland is committed to providing an exceptional adventure for all guests, from the moment they enter the park until the moment they leave,” Adventureland General Manager Mike Lusky said. “These attractions represent the culmination of years of planning, and we are confident that they will deliver unparalleled thrills and excitement for our visitors.” ■
