UK: Chester Zoo Enthuses Kids with New Junior Ropes Course
Northwest England’s Chester Zoo has added a new junior ropes course to its visitor offer last autumn, an eleven-mast “Sky Tykes” course set to enthuse young zoo guests this season. Located close to its “Fruit Bat Forest” area and with a height of one meter off the ground, “Treetop Challenge” features 18 different adventure elements and obstacles, aimed at kids aged two to seven years. In addition, the junior ropes course, which was installed by Britain’s Innovative Leisure company, is equipped with two “Sky Rail” zip lines. Up to 25 youngsters can use the facility at the same time.
Another “Sky Tykes” junior ropes course was also opened at Center Parcs Elveden in the county of Suffolk (East of England). Also supplied by Innovative Leisure, the “Mini Trek” course features 15 elements as well as a 14 meter long zip line at the end. (eap)
