USA: Great America Announces New 4-D Attraction for 2016

California’s Great America amusement park, operated by Cedar Fair Group, recently announced the launch of a new dynamic 4-D holographic experience at the park’s “Action Theatre” next season. For the attraction’s creation the park cooperates with Electronic Arts (EA), a US-based developer and publisher of computer and video games. Guests to Great America can look forward to a thrilling adventure across the galaxy featuring settings and characters from the science fiction Mass Effects™ video game series. The attraction will involve the latest technology customized for the park and deliver 4-D effects combined with a live performer and special effects. “Teaming with a world-wide gaming leader like EA will enable us to build an incredible user experience for Great America guests. This combination of technology and creative video game content is sure to usher in a new wave of entertainment innovation at amusement parks,” Great America Vice President and General Manager Raul Rehnborg says.
