USA: MR-ProFun and Icon Global Partners Enter into Acquisition Agreement

Hong Kong-based consulting company Icon Global Partners, which is primarily active in the water park industry, and US-based consulting firm MR-ProFun, an independent provider of consulting and management services to the leisure industry, entered into an acquisition agreement earlier this month.

“We are confident that our newly-acquired waterpark focused talent and resources cements our place as the attractions sector’s go-to resource for operational consulting and management. This acquisition will also allow us to expand our ability to service our clients in South East Asia and China from Icon’s office in Bangkok, Thailand,” said Mike Oswald, Managing Partner of MR-ProFun’s Management Services division.

Tim Mow, Partner and Chief of Technical Services of Icon Global Partners, is also delighted about the consolidation of the two companies, “The Icon team is excited!
