USA: Orland Eye to Officially Open for Visitors on May 4

The official opening of Merlin’s The Orlando Eye is set for May 4, 2015 (cp. EAP 1/2015). Some riders will get exclusive access to the nearly 122 meter tall observation wheel and enjoy a ride in one of the 30 passenger capsules ahead of the grand opening during a soft opening. According to Robin Goodchild, general manager of The Orlando Eye, the remaining construction work is on schedule. Besides the observation wheel, the new SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium and Madame Tussauds Orlando attractions will also be available for I-Drive visitors as of May. In addition to these three Merlin attractions, the new Skeletons: Animals Unveiled! museum will also be part of the leisure offer of I-Drive 360 soon. (eap)
