Unilever Caters to Fans at UEFA Euro 2024
(eap) The host country Germany has fully arrived in soccer fever at UEFA Euro 2024 – last night, Germany secured its place in the round of 16 by winning its group. As an official sponsor, Unilever is presenting its renowned brands from the Nutrition and Personal Care divisions at the European Championship. Of course, beer and chips in the stadiums as well as at public viewings must be accompanied by mayo and ice cream, for example. To ensure this, Hellmann's (a Unilever brand), as an official partner of this European soccer championship, is offering its selection of mayonnaise, ketchup and various sauces and dressings in practical packaging with quick dosage options under the motto “Play for success – Meet the taste” in order to “easily ensure more sales in the establishment,” says Nadia Meier, Managing Director of Unilever Food Solutions & Langnese/Eskimo/Lusso DACH.
The fans’ sweet tooth will also be satisfied: Unilever ice cream brands Langnese and Magnum will be present at all 51 European championship matches. More than 200 mobile vendors will be out and about in all 10 stadiums (Munich, Berlin, Cologne, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Leipzig, Stuttgart, Gelsenkirchen) to bring ice cream and good cheer to the fans on site.
