Parc Spirou Plans Naruto-themed Area for 2026
(eap) The Parc Spirou comic theme park in the south of France will open a new Naruto themed area in the spring of 2026. This was recently announced at the “Naruto Shippuden Symphonic Experience” concert event at the Dôme de Paris. The themed area dedicated to the Japanese manga “Naruto” will cover 1.5 hectares and feature new attractions that will immerse visitors in the village of “Konoha”, the main location in the Naruto storyline.
“It is a great pleasure and honour for us to bring the world of Naruto to life at Parc Spirou. We have been working on this incredible expansion for four years. This project, which is being realized hand in hand between the park, Mediatoon and our Japanese partners Shueisha, Studio Pierrot and TV Tokyo, will allow us to offer our visitors an immersive theme park experience,” comments Hervé Lux, General Director of Parc Spirou Provence.
The world of Naruto and his friends has enjoyed great popularity for several generations, even beyond the borders of Japan. The Japanese comic has been sold in France since 2002 and has been a great success with more than 30 million copies sold in French. Naruto was number one on the French manga market for ten years. Since 2006, there has also been an anime series based on the manga, which is also very popular, as well as eleven cinema films and now more than 130 licensees for merchandising products in Europe. More details about the Naruto-themed area at Parc Spirou will follow soon! ■
