(eap) The revitalization of the Siebentäler Therme public pool in Bad Herrenalb in the northern Black Forest (Germany) will continue. This was decided by the municipal council with a large majority (14 votes to 7) at the end of January. The work is currently in a decisive phase: Following extensive demolition work on the interior, the Europe-wide tenders for the next crafts will now begin. At the same time, a management team is being sought for the thermal bath, who will also be asked to develop a comprehensive marketing concept.

The 4a Architekten concept for the modernization of the spa, which was presented in summer 2022, includes renovation work on the building as well as the following points: a new sauna area with an extended range and a new outdoor area, a restaurant with access from outside via a guest terrace or via the indoor pool foyer, the refurbishment and redesign of the foyer and cash desk terminals with an administration area and store, the refurbishment and redesign of the entire changing room and sanitary area as well as a new outdoor pool with bubble loungers, massage jets, neck showers and floor jets. The reopening of the Siebentäler Therme is planned for summer 2026. The new outdoor pool should also be completed by then and offer guests an enhanced wellness experience. ■
